Edgehill Community Association
ECA was established for the
benefit of residents of the Edgehill Estate and surrounding wards. ECA works with residents and a range of
organisations with the object of
improving the conditions of life for residents. With ongoing budget cuts and loss of services, demand for activities across Scarborough has increased and so we are working hard to bring more opportunities to our community centre and welcoming people from across the borough who want to meet new people, make friends and take part in activities.
ECA is run by a small team of part time staff, volunteers and a board of trustees. We'd love more people to become involved in the work we do, running events, supporting vulnerable or isolated people, running activities for younger people or just getting involved in developing ideas about improving what we offer, the community centre or the surrounding area. For general information on the community centre, visit their website here
How to find us
Falsgrave Community Resource Centre is situated on Seamer Road on the outskirts of Scarborough, opposite Seamer Road Retail Park (B&M, B&Q etc). The centre has a large car park which is accessed by turning off Seamer Road onto Phoenix Drive (at the traffic lights outside the entrance to the retail park) and then right onto Lismore Road, driving to the end of the road and you'll find the car park on your right. For Sat Nav, the postcode YO12 4BP will bring you to Lismore Road.
Via Bus: We are close to the bus stops for Edgehill Road/B&Q and serviced by a number of routes.
Shoreline Cruisers 777 and 777s route run approximately every half hour Monday to Saturday with a £1.20 flat fee, free of charge to all concessions. Their timetable can be found here

Bus 128 (Scarborough to Helmsley) runs daily from the train station, stopping at Edgehill Road. Frequency tends to be hourly Monday to Saturday, less frequent on Sunday. Their timetable can be found here
The centre is a 20-30 minute walk from Scarborough Station, 30-40 minute walk from Seamer Station.
ECA Survey
Edgehill Community Association will be conducting a community questionnaire in March/April 2019 to gather to get information about what you want so we can develop some new grant applications for activities in the centre. We'll publish the overall information on here and we'll let you know what we've done in response to the information you provide us. Keep an eye out for the questionnaire popping through your door or appearing on here and social media. Please take a few minutes to fill it in and help us improve what's available in our local community for all ages, backgrounds and ability.
